One on one lessons for beginners are best started around the age of 8 years of age. Many people feel that private lessons are better than class lessons. This couldn't be further from the truth. Children who learn in classes often learn faster and more effectively. Just look at how much children love group sport. Learning music in a small group is much more fun and really helps to encourage children to practice. 

This is why we also offer band programs for instrumental students so they don't just play in a one on one lesson environment all the times.
