Does your budding rock star need drum lessons. Sydney and Northern Beaches students aged eight and above will enjoy making music quickly at their first drum lesson. Students get instant satisfaction from creating their first beats from lesson number one.

Young drummers quickly learn to develop eye, hand and fee co-ordination. This cross lateral movement required for drum lessons uses both sides of the brain which helps set children up for learning in areas outside music as well as keeping energetic children engaged in learning drums.

At Forte School of Music Dee Why we use the very best electronic drum kits by leading musical instrument manufacturers, Roland and Yamaha. Each drum kit has pre-programmed beats and drum kit sounds that can simulate the sound of any type of acoustic drum kit. Most importantly you can use other technology along with the electronic drum kit to learn drums more effectively. At Forte we use iPads to jam along with the latest tunes as well as helping to develop a good sense or rhythm and beat.

The Rock School examination syllabus is used at Forte Dee Why to provide a great learning pathway for children of all ages. The syllabus commences at a preliminary level through grades 1 to 8 and then to diploma standard. Each level offers students new learning to enhance their musicianship and theory.

You'll need an instrument at home and we recommend an electronic drum kit which means that your neighbors won't hate you because your budding rock star can where headphones to practice. To find our more about drum lessons on the Northern Beaches of Sydney contact Forte Dee Why on 9981 2677.
