Guitar Lessons in Canning Vale
The guitar is the most popular instrument with students today. Perhaps it’s because of musical icons like Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Eddie Van Halen, Les Paul? Maybe it’s because of how portable it is, light weight and easy to carry? The cost of an entry level guitar can start for less than $100AUD.
Learning the guitar is easy, getting good at it requires practice & patience. Learning the guitar at a young age is ideal because young children are used to developing new gross and fine motor skills all the time. You can learn guitar as an adult too, it’s never too late, just remember you need to set aside time to practice.
At Forte School of Music Canning Vale, we teach all types of guitar; Classical, Acoustic, Electric and Bass. We can also teach many different styles such as Finger picking, Flamenco, Classical, Jazz, Rock and many more.
Our teachers are qualified trained professionals, many of them are playing regular gigs around Perth. They are patient, kind and will ensure you are learning the music and material you desire to play. We have many guitar teachers to chose from so after your trial lesson, if you feel you didn’t quite gel, you can talk to our friendly staff about trialling another teacher that may suit you better.
We can teach music theory if you are interested in reading notes and composition.
We also offer the Rock School programme where budding guitarists can meet up with drummers and vocalists and form their own bands. The Rock School programme can be used to complete exams and this is facilitated by the Australian Music Examinations Board (AMEB).
For younger children, a FORTE MUSIC COURSE is recommended, where they will gain a wide range of musical skills that any budding musician needs including rhythm, aural and note reading skills.
