Guitar Lessons are very popular with pre-teens, teens and adults. The guitar is an incredibly rewarding, versatile and contemporary instrument to learn. Anyone aged 8 and up are good to go.
Guitar sounds great as a solo instrument or in a band with others. Playing classical or heavy rock. Students can easily perform with others, play in bands and compose their own music. Guitar comes naturally to those who:

Our teachers are versatile and play a wide range of styles. Many beginners have a real passion and desire to play a particular piece or style. Our teachers know how important it is to satisfy this interest and try to work this in as soon as possible, sometimes in the first few lessons.
The co-ordination of fingers and the individual strength of fingers to push down the required strings in various combinations can be confounding for the young child. Guitar is popular with all ages but recommend young beginners to music (3.5 - 7 yr olds) start with our Forte Piano Courses for Children where all the basics including pitch training are developed first.
